CitedMe provides an AI search optimization platform that helps businesses track, analyze, and optimize their visibility in AI-powered search engines. Our services include bot detection, visibility analytics, content transformation tools, and competitor tracking.

3. Account Registration

To use our services, you must:

• Create an account with accurate information
• Be at least 18 years old or have parental consent
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe on intellectual property rights
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Interfere with other users' access to the service
• Use the service to distribute malware or harmful code
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
• Use automated means to access the service beyond API limits

5. Subscription and Payment

5.1 Billing

Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law or as explicitly stated in these terms.

5.2 Free Trial

We may offer free trials. At the end of the trial, you will be automatically charged unless you cancel before the trial ends.

5.3 Price Changes

We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days' notice. Price changes will take effect at the start of your next billing cycle.

CitedMe and its content, features, and functionality are owned by us and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of your data but grant us a license to use it to provide the services.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CITEDME SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold CitedMe harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the service or violation of these terms.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the service at any time for violation of these terms or for any other reason. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of San Francisco County, California.

12. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the service.
